This Saturday at 4:00 PM at Stade des Trois-Chêne, Servette FCCF hosts Aarau for the final match of the 2024–2025 season — an opportunity to end the campaign on a positive note.

Already guaranteed a 5th-place finish, the Servette players will step out in front of their home crowd one last time before a summer break to recharge.

In the reverse fixture, Aarau put up a solid fight. The team from Aargau opened the scoring before Serrano equalized just a few minutes later. It was a match largely controlled by the Genevans, though without outright dominance. A draw was a fair result.

This Saturday at 4:00 PM, the stakes will not be competitive. Servette can no longer be caught by St. Gallen — 5th place is secured. A final standing far from the usual standards and the goals set at the start of the season. The real focus may be more psychological: using this match to give playing time to those who had fewer opportunities, to share one last moment together, and to chase a win that, while without sporting consequences, could be a welcome boost to finish on a high and build momentum going into the next season.
