FC LUCERNE – SERVETTE FCCF 0-2 (0-0)

In central Switzerland, the Grenat validated their ticket for the Swiss Cup final by defeating Lucerne with a score of 2 to 0.

For this Swiss Cup semi-final, the Barcala players played against a Lucern team who gave them a hard time throughout the first half. Indeed, although the ball was spinning a lot at the feet of the Servettians, very few dangerous situations managed to be created. The Lucernoises did not give up in front of their public, holding the score 0-0 until the break.

After tea, the Garnets finally found the back of the net through Serrano, well served by Joana Marchão. The rest of this second period is intended to be tense on both sides. And if the Garnet masters cooking, the Lucernoises will never really have been able to worry Inês Pereira. At the very end of the match, in a general confusion, Sandrine Mauron sealed the fate of the match. The Grenat are therefore heading to the final for the second year in a row and will face BSC YB Frauen, winners of Basel, on April 20 at Letzigrund.

Time for a little rest before the return of the championship this Saturday at 8:30 p.m. against FC Basel at the Fontenette stadium.
