SERVIETTE WOMEN’S FOOTBALL CLUB
THE SERVETTIENNES INTERNATIONALLY
Before tackling the final sprint of the season, it’s time for the international break for Servette FCCF. Here is what awaits our Servettians in selection.
Felber summoned, Mauron on picket
For the first time in a while, Sandrine Mauron has not been called up for the next national team gathering. Felber, on duty during the previous one, joins Pia Sundhage’s list. For the Swiss team, two meetings are planned. The Nati will first meet Turkey at Letzigrund on April 5 at 7 p.m. The Helvetii will then head to Baku to face Azerbaijan on April 9 at 8 p.m.
Pereira and Marchão with Portugal
Unsurprisingly, Inês Pereira and Joana Marchão are part of the Portuguese list for the April gathering. The Lusitanians will first face Bosnia-Herzegovina on April 5 as part of qualifying for Euro 2025 in Switzerland. On April 9, Portugal will travel to Malta for their second meeting of the truce.
Jelencic in the colors of Croatia
Called up with Croatia, Ana Jelencic and her compatriots will also play a match with a view to qualifying for Euro 2025. A first meeting on April 5 against Wales, before welcoming Ukraine on April 9.
Jonusaite returns to the selection
Arriving this winter on loan from AC Milan, Rimante Jonusaite found the net again by scoring her first goal with the Garnet against Basel as well as the doors to the Lithuanian selection for the April gathering. On the menu for the Lithuanians: a first away match on April 5 against Georgia before welcoming Cyprus on April 9.
Two crucial matches for Morocco from Nakkach and Saoud
In great form at club and national level, Morocco dreams of the Olympic Games. But before they can dream, the Atlas Lionesses will first have to overcome the double confrontation against Zambia. The first round is marked for April 5. The return match will take place on April 9 on Moroccan soil. Two important matches for Morocco to come.
Amina Muratovic and Viola Behrami selected with Switzerland and Kosovo U19
Regularly called up with the U19s of the Swiss team, Amina Muratovic is once again part of the list for this second gathering of the year. A gathering which will see the young players of the Nati rub shoulders with the big European nations as part of the qualifications for the Euro U19. Switzerland will face England (03.04), Italy (06.04) and Portugal (09.04).
As for Viola Behrami, the young Servettian was selected with Kosovo for the qualifications for the Euro U19. Kosovo will face Gibraltar, Luxembourg and Israel on April 2, 5 and 8.
