EIGHT SERVETTIANS IN THE NATIONAL TEAM

It’s time for an international break for women’s football. Overview of our Servettiennes engaged with their national team.

After the victory against Lucerne on Sunday, our three Swiss women went directly to the selection. A gathering that began with excellent news for the Nati since Switzerland has been designated host country for the next European championship in 2025!

Switzerland will have two friendly matches during this international break: Thursday April 6 at 6:30 p.m. against China in Lucerne then Tuesday April 11 at 7 p.m. against Iceland in Zürich.

Two big games ahead for Padilla and Poland

Back with the Polish team in sparkling form, Padilla and his compatriots will face Costa Rica on Thursday April 6 before meeting the Netherlands on Tuesday April 11. Two great tests for Poland to come!

A new tunic for Portugal by Inês Pereira

The gathering of the “Seleção das Quinas” took place this Monday on the side of the “Cidade do Futebol” where the mythical “Jamor” stadium is located. A busy day for the Portugal of Inês Pereira who unveiled this Monday the jerseys that the selection will wear at the next World Cup.

Before thinking about the competition, Portugal must prepare for it. Portugal will first face Japan in a friendly match on Friday 7 April. They will then face Wales on Tuesday, April 11.

Saoud back in the Moroccan list

Absent during the previous international break, Imane Saoud returns to the list of Atlas Lionesses. Imane Saoud has been gaining momentum for several years and this selection confirms her excellent form at the moment. Elodie Nakkach is also one of the summoned.

Morocco will have two preparation matches for the next World Cup. The first against the Czech Republic this Thursday April 6 at 8:30 p.m., the second against Romania on Tuesday April 11 at 7:30 p.m.

Two matches for Alice Berti and the Italy M23 selection

For our No. 20, this is also a return to selection with the under 23s of Italy. On the menu of the international break: two friendly matches. The first against the Netherlands this Thursday April 6 at 3:30 p.m. and the second Monday April 10 at 2:30 p.m. against Norway.

Servette FCCF wishes its internationals every success during this break! The Garnets will return to the championship on Saturday April 15 at 4 p.m. against YB. After the trip to Bern, the Servettiennes will host Aarau for the last match of the regular season. This meeting will take place at La Fontenette on Saturday April 22 at 5 p.m.
